Having been active for some time in the cleaning services market in Chisinau, we have encountered numerous cases. We have cleaned apartments, houses, offices and commercial spaces, from simple maintenance interventions to particularly difficult works. But sometimes we encountered situations that particularly impressed us.

People in these situations, due to disabilities, were forced to spend most of their time in their homes, which, for the same reasons, could no longer be properly cared for. We were usually contacted by relatives or, sometimes, neighbors. In some cases, we managed to improve the living conditions, in others, those close to them discovered the condition of the home too late.

After several discussions in the team, we decided to take action. These people need a clean, healthy and pleasant environment, but most of the time they do not have the financial resources to call on a professional team. Thus, we decided to offer free help, intervening in a few cases per month.

The first beneficiary was Mrs. Tatiana. At 87 years old, she had no remaining relatives. Only her neighbor, Ana, also of the same age, helped her from time to time with the meals and laundry. The house was covered in a thick layer of dust on the furniture, windows, window sills and other surfaces, and the air had become heavy and oppressive.

We cleaned like any other client: we washed the windows, vacuumed the carpets and upholstered furniture, cleaned stubborn stains, and removed hidden dust and mold.

The ladies were extremely pleased with the result. Through this simple gesture, we gave them security, a better physical and emotional state, and the feeling that they were still cared for and valued. At the same time, the experience strengthened the team spirit, which felt proud to contribute to a social cause.

Since we are active on social media, we chose to use these platforms to reach as many people as possible. We document each case on our Instagram, Facebook and TikTok pages, and some of the people we helped found us through these posts – either directly or with the help of social workers. Even now, if you know vulnerable people we could help, you can write to us on social networks or contact us at the phone number displayed on our website homecleaning.md. We analyze each request and intervene where we can bring the biggest change.

At the time of writing this article, the charity cleaning campaign is half a year old, during which we managed to help more than 10 people. A small number, but with a huge impact for each of them. We continue this initiative because we see the results – a better state of health and a more positive attitude towards life of the people helped. We thank everyone who supports us. Together we can make Moldova a cleaner and more benevolent place!
